The chimney on building 8, which was built in 1972 using in-situ concrete, had a diameter of 2.60 m and contained around 150 tons of reinforced concrete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dismantling the individual segments by means of sawing work<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A 120-ton mobile crane was used for the initial gutting work. A personal danger cage took the employees to a height. There they first began with the gutting and then drilled the anchor points with a core drill. The individual segments were dismantled using sawing work and the telescopic truck crane. They were then transported to &#8220;BAUREKA&#8221;, a company for building material recycling and mineral waste management.
