Dear Sir or Madam, dear readers, the circular economy is no longer a buzzword about the future — it is already determining how resilient, climate-friendly, and economically viable the construction sector will be tomorrow. And this is exactly where the German Demolition Association (DA) carries responsibility: we not only represent an industry that makes circularity happen in practice — we also have to make that role visible, strengthen connections, and actively help shape the framework. That is why we are now listed as an actor on the “Circular Economy Map NRW” operated by CE.NRW (under the umbrella of NRW.Energy4Climate). The platform showcases companies, projects, and networks driving the circular economy in North Rhine-Westphalia and supports exchange within the community. For us, this is more than just an entry on a map. Demolition and dismantling are not the end point — they are the moment when circularity becomes real: through reuse, recycling, clean material flows, and robust verification. By being present on the map, we are deliberately leading by example as an association and further strengthening the bridge between practice, municipalities, research, and networks. You will find the full press release linked in the newsletter. | ||||
