Enough Empty Buzzwords | DA Newsletter No. 02/2026

Dear Sir or Madam, dear readers,

In Berlin’s government district, people still love to talk in 2026 about “putting people at the center.” But all too often, it’s little more than an empty slogan. With so many topics on the agenda – from heat pumps and climate targets to the transformation of the construction sector – it’s not uncommon to forget the very people who are expected to make all of it happen in the end.

If employees truly are the capital of our companies, it takes more than warm words: less paperwork, more trust. Fewer regulations, more recognition.

In our industry, we feel this every day. Machines can crush and sort; regulations can define targets and quotas. But a circular economy doesn’t come into being at a desk. It is created where people take responsibility: on the jobsite, in recycling operations, in the workshop — from apprentices to seasoned professionals.

You can find more on this and other exciting topics in the linked articles and, of course, in full detail in the new issue of ABBRUCH AKTUELL.

We wish you an enjoyable read.
