At the opening night of the annual congress on the Thursday the 5th of October 2017 the members met for a Come-Together at the Wirtshaus Christoffel for a medieval meal. The way back to the conference hotel “Dorint am Dom” occurred through a night town guidance in several groups. Besides, the participants got to know impressively why already the big reformer Martin Luther in the 16th century judged „… lies at the best place. There must be a town!“ Thus the best known landmarks of Erfurt were passed among other things like the ensemble of the cathedral Sankt Marien and the Severikirche as well as the Krämerbrücke. With 120-m length and 32 houses it is the longest one completely farmed and inhabited bridge road of Europe.
