For the first time at STATION-Berlin – New website for the event

The annually growing popularity of Europe’s largest conference for the demolition industry makes a change of location necessary for 2019.

For many years, the number of attendees and exhibitors at the Demolition Conference of Deutscher Abbruchverband (German Demolition Association) has been growing steadily. The success of the event is guaranteed by a diverse lecture programme in the fields of demolition technology, recycling, pollutant remediation, safety at the workplace and law, the parallel trade exhibition with a wide range of products and thereafter a dialogue evening for network exchange.

That is why it is necessary to rethink and move the event to a new location that offers more space, Andreas Pocha, DA-Managing Director, told the plenary right at the beginning of this year’s Demolition Conference. On February 15, 2019, the complete event will take place for the first time under one roof in the industrial monument – STATION BERLIN – Luckenwalder Straße.
There will be enough space for a generously spread exhibition, which matches particularly well to the demolition industry due to the architectural charm of the former Postbahnhof.

This year more than 900 attendees and a total of 115 exhibitors came to Europe’s largest industry meeting and unfortunately the organizer had to cancel some exhibitors, so the step to change is certainly the right one. “The DA is relying on the loyalty of its attendees and exhibitors at this new location as well,” said Pocha.

Everything under one roof

But not only the location is new. For the first time, the dialogue evening will also take place in the same premises as the conference, so all event items will be held under the roof of STATION-Berlin. For this reason it is possible to keep the exhibition open parallel to the dialogue evening. This improves the exchange and information possibilities for both sides – attendees and exhibitors.

The DA has again committed ambitiuos goals for this event in 2019: to inspire the attendees with a technically broad and demanding lecture programme as well as with a product exhibition of well-known manufacturers. You may be curious!

The fact that the conference is well established shows the very pleasing participation of sponsors, which could already be gained. For this the DA would like to thank its supporters very much!

The DA has blocked a room contingent at the Hotel Berlin, Berlin, Luetzowplatz and will offer the attendees a free shuttle bus service between the hotel and STATION-Berlin during the conference day.

The registration for the Demolition Conference 2019 as a conference attendee will be possible again online via this website from December 2018 at the latest. Exhibitors from previous years will be contacted automatically by the organiser in advance and can also book their booths via the event website.
